The Struts performed a tight, 14-song set at Revolution Live in Fort Lauderdale on Jan. 18 to a sold-out crowd.

Squeezing into a corner to cool off next to the industrial fans, my friend and I enjoyed the show despite the crowded house.

Fans on the upper level of the venue were packed in three rows deep: a testament to The Struts' popularity and appeal.

Opening with "Primadonna Like Me" from the band's 2018 album YOUNG&DANGEROUS, the audience came alive.

We knew our cues well, shouting out "Woo! Woo!" during the chorus of the steamy hit "Body Talks."

Singer Luke Spiller kept things fun and engaging throughout the evening, checking in with us to make sure we were having a good time and if we were "feeling sexy tonight." He assured us we were in for some fun, and as the night progressed, we were certainly treated to an excellent show.

Bassist Jed Elliot and Guitarist Adam Slack took turns showcasing their talents, maintaining the sexy, glam energy of the evening.

I couldn't help but notice these were not surface-level fans: they knew every single word to every song, from the big hits to the newest tracks, including "Can't Stop Talking," which has only been released for three months.

It was very clear everyone was enjoying themselves, including Spiller, who is committed to putting on an unforgettable performance with his charm and charisma.

Of course, The Struts concluded the evening with their biggest hit in the States: "Could Have Been Me."

The words traveled from singer to audience and back again:

"I wanna live better days

Never look back and say

Could have been me."

And we all felt it! What a wonderful night of modern British rock n' roll with a classic, vintage vibe.
