The Sons of Cream brought an electrifying tribute to their legendary fathers' band at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts on March 2. Featuring Kofi Baker (son of Ginger Baker) and Malcolm Bruce (son of Jack Bruce), the band delivered a powerful homage to the iconic supergroup Cream.

The performance was more than just a concert—it was a musical inheritance. Accompanied by special guest Rob Johnson on guitar, the band transported the audience back to the heart of the 60s British Blues and R&B rock explosion. Each note seemed to channel the spirit of the original Cream, paying heartfelt tribute to the musical legacy of Ginger Baker and Jack Bruce.

Malcolm Bruce's earlier comments about honoring his father's musical heritage rang true throughout the evening, as the band demonstrated not just a reverence for the past, but a vibrant, living interpretation of Cream's groundbreaking sound. The Sons of Cream proved that musical greatness truly can run in the family.
