Lita Ford is touring again and played a South Florida show Jan. 20, 2024. Rocktographer Larry Marano headed to Palm Beach to photograph the legendary rock goddess.

Renowned for her proficient and powerful guitar playing, rocker Lita Ford is known for her skillful use of fast picking, bending, and aggressive riffing techniques. Her playing style often incorporates elements of hard rock and heavy metal. Ford's contributions to the rock and metal genres have made her an influential figure, particularly for aspiring female musicians. From The Runaways to a solo career, Ford is back out on the road this year, touring and doing what she loves most--playing guitar and performing.

"I have a really great band, and we work really well together on stage," Ford told KPVI News in a 2023 interview. "We don't have a lot of flashy stuff. We just have us--our instruments and our music, and that's what shines through the most."

Inspired heavily by the music of Black Sabbath, Ford recalls the first rock concert she ever went to, never realizing she would one day collaborate with the lead singer of that iconic band. "I was 13, and Black Sabbath was the first rock concert I went to," Ford told KPVI News. "Later on, I ended up having a top 10 hit single with Ozzy and it was his first top 10 hit single of all time because Black Sabbath could not make the top 10 because they were Black Sabbath."
