In the arena of keyboard wizardry, Lachy Doley stands as Australia's best-kept secret – a Hammond organ beast with serious musical chops and a growling vocal delivery reminiscent of Joe Cocker on a bender.
Doley's latest offering, Studios 301 Sessions, is a tour de force of blues-rock ferocity. From the moment he digs into the opening track, "Stop Listening to the Blues," it's clear we're in the presence of a musician who bleeds groove. His hands dance across the keys with a dexterity that borders on the supernatural, coaxing sounds from his Hammond that range from dirty, distorted wails to silky, soulful whispers.
But Doley isn't content to simply dazzle with his keyboard skills. His raw, emotive vocals add a layer of grit and authenticity that elevates the material beyond mere instrumental showboating.
Doley appeared to have a blast performing at The Funky Biscuit and shared his thoughts on his experience coming to Boca Raton on his Instagram accounts.
"Thank you so much FUNKY BISCUIT Boca Raton FL. We had the most incredible time. You were loud, excited, and super welcoming. I hope to see you again soon," Lachy Doley wrote.
