Singer/songwriter JD Danner and folk songbird Judy Routley have been performing dynamic acoustic duo sets throughout the South Florida music scene for more than two decades. They recently brought their feel-good sound to Kravis Cente to open for Tina: The Tina Turner Musical.

"I saw the musical Tina on Tuesday, March 12th, opening night, and what an incredible experience! " JD Danner said. The music and the acting really bring the audience through the journey of strength and perseverance that made Tine Turner a legend!
I left that show filled with excitement to bring music to the audience pre-show on the following Saturday.  Judy Routley, my longtime duo partner, and I were booked to perform in the Kravis Center plaza for a pre-show set to warm up the audience for this awesome show."

Danner and Routley kicked off the evening with hit songs such as, "Venus," "I’m A Believer," "Drift Away" and "Have You Ever Seen The Rain."

"We added some songs Tina Turner herself covered too such as 'Rock Me Baby' and of course. 'Proud Mary," Danner added.

Here are some highlights from the performance:
